Still #1

Despite a slow start, BSU is still the leading offense this century/decade. The Broncose average 41.4 points per game, wile second place Texas is at 37.7. I believe BSU can (and will) improve that average Saturday against Hawaii.

More smack (and locker room posting material): "I'm so ready to get a shot at them," Hawaii offensive lineman Brandon Eaton told the newspaper of playing BSU. "I'm ready to blow them out of the water. They don't know what to expect."

Lee Mark's 92 yard kickoff return against Bowling Green moved him into 9th nationally for return yardage. Quentin Jones is not far behind at 14th. BSU ranks 16th overall.

Well Wally, I guess its just you and me reading this blog.(Good as it is). Hawaii has 4 starting freshmen and is still learning Glanville's scheme. This will be a very rigorous test for them. If Boise can score a touchdown first,it is over for Hawaii.

The other factor no one is talking about is the bronco Defense. Remember what they did to Chang last year. I think that this might be the key to victory; keep the warriors offense off the field and get some turnover.

Also, weather may be a factor as tropical depression Kenneth is supposed to be dropping a lot of rain over the next 36 hours.

Isn't it Texas Tech, not Texas?
